Scotch Whisky is part of the fabric of Scotland, woven into history, culture and commerce. It’s part of who we are. So, you’d think we want to keep it all to ourselves. But that’s not the Scots’ way.
The first written record of Scotch is a mention in the Exchequer Rolls of Scotland on June 1, 1494 and Scotch has grown into one of Scotland’s best known products. It’s an important part of the economy today, with one in fifty jobs in the country supported by this thriving industry.
