Whisky
the
outlaw

Incredibly, Scotch was once declared illegal. The English Malt Tax of 1725 shut down much of Scotland’s whisky production and drove many Highlanders to bootlegging. Today, it seems illegal to neglect rounding off an evening with a wee dram! We’re glad whisky returned to the shelves and has never left since.
